Finally the time has come where I show you the lovely 50’s look from this past Sunday. If you haven’t been following me for long you probably don’t know that I am obsessed with that era. The fashion is just my favorite. If it was business attire appropriate I would wear outfits like this to work every day.
Anyway, I’ve been a pin up for Halloween plenty of times and sometimes it’s nice to just dress up. So here is my lovely 50’s outfit and experience at a 50’s drive-in (or dine in) restaurant.
Well, there you have it! I know, I know, I’m sorry picture overload. I just can’t get over how much this is my favorite set of pictures and that this restaurant was this amazing.
Now, I wanted to leave all of you with some words of wisdom, but before I do let me explain why. Not many of you (even some of my friends) don’t know what I have been through within the last year and few months. I will say that I will most likely never tell the full story because it is extremely personal and hard but I have met some amazing people along the way. I’ve met many inspiring people and I think they were in my plan of my life that I was supposed to meet them and know their story. I was talking to a friend of mine and she’s been through some hardships and I almost started crying with the story she told me. Here is this beautiful, intelligent, vibrant young woman who is just so bubbly all of the time and a pleasure to have around who went through so much. I envy her strength. The part that boggles my mind is that you would never tell. She is such an amazing person and because of her I started thinking about all of the people I have written about here or just simply thought of and I wanted to leave all of you with the following quote to just think about and share your thoughts if you’d like.
I hope everyone has a lovely weekend!
xoxo Moniczka
