For all of my fellow Americans, I wanted to take the time to write a quick memorial post about what happened today 12 years ago. Our country was in devastation while we watched our twin towers crumble along with the Pentagon being destroyed, American Airlines Flight 11, United Airlines Flight 175, American Airlines Flight 77, and United Airlines Flight 93 crashing with fatalities. In total almost 3,000 people were killed in these attacks. Please take a moment of silence at some point today (or even while you are reading this post) for all of the people who were killed, all of their families, all of the survivors who have worked up the courage to tell their stories, all the men and women who came to our nation’s rescue, all of the men and women who are fighting for our freedom, and all government officials who stepped forward on this day 12 years ago to try to save what was left.
We will never forget September 11, 2001. United We Stand.
