A Fashion, Lifestyle, Mom, and Anti Scam Blog

I found my blogger bestie.

So I read this post from I wore Yoga Pants to Work a few weeks ago.  It’s about finding your bestie in blogger land.  While I was reading that post I started thinking oh my gosh this sounds exactly like Ellen from Ask Away.  I’ve only seen Ellen in person twice including our dinner on Sunday night which I will get to shortly.  From reading Ellen’s blog posts and texting her I feel like I’ve known her forever.  I call her my sister from another mister.

I met Ellen at Lucky FABB on Day 2.  I remember being so nervous walking into that room the first session we had.  Lucky FABB on Day 2 was broken up into little mini seminars.  The first one I went to I sat next to Ellen.  We introduced ourselves, exchanged business cards, you know the usual.  We got to talking and somehow we ended up talking about how we both love cars, we both wear clip in extensions, and we live somewhat close to each other.  We are neighboring states.  She’s from PA and I’m from NJ.  That day I felt an instant connection.  It was weird because we just clicked.

We started following each other on every possible social media site, including our personal Facebooks.  We talk through all of them and of course text like normal people.  Finally after a few months of not seeing each other we decided lets meet for dinner.  We met in Kutztown, PA at Camillo’s.  First of all the place is delicious and the service is great.

First of all I must brag about being able to have the above drink.  It was a Strawberry Shortcake Vodka mixed drink.

The Fettuccine Alfredo at this place was the best I have EVER had.  It was absolutely amazing.
During this dinner I got to know Ellen even more.  We had a heart to heart.  She is one of the only people I know will let me pour my heart out and tell her my story (because well, we all have one) without judging me.  I even told her that.  It’s great to know such an amazing person who has been through hardships like you and you can share your experiences and realize that it all happened for a reason.  Just like our paths crossed for a reason.  Even though we can’t hang out every day or talk every day (both of us are super busy and pretty much have 3 jobs) we know that the other one will be there.  I can’t wait to meet up with her again!
I also wanted to show the jar I made for her.  I know she is a fellow fur mama with four fur babies so I just had to take a picture of her Chihuahua’s and incorporate them into a personalized jar.  The picture is taken from Ellen.
To all of my fellow bloggers, I hope you find your blogger bestie.  It’s just like having a real life one.  I will say that Ellen is both my BFF in the blogging world and in real life.  There’s just something that makes us click.
