Veggies and Ice cream with sprinkles

This past weekend I had my first vegetarian restaurant
experience.  I’m a big meat eater, but I
am willing to try new things.  One of my
coworkers is a vegetarian so whenever we go out he is pretty much limited on
what he can eat.  For his birthday he
wanted to go to this awesome place called Veggie Heaven in Denville NJ.  If you are ever in that area, I suggest you
try it.  It’s really delicious.  The tofu dishes are amazing!  Even if you aren’t into vegetarian food, if
you are willing to try something new I highly recommend it!

Not only did I have amazing tofu dishes but I also chose to
try one of the smoothies.   It was called
Hot Pink.  Inside were beets, ginger,
pineapple, and pear.  It was amazing, and
really pink.  You could definitely tell
by the color that there were beets in it.

Afterwards we took a little walk over to one of the best ice
cream places ever.  Denville Dairy which
is also located in Denville, NJ was awesome.
I decided to stick to a plain flavor, French vanilla and of course I had
to add sprinkles.  An ice cream cone is
not complete without rainbow sprinkles.

Shoes:  Vince Camuto {gift from Dad}
Bag:  Louis Vuitton {old}

Once we were finished with our ice cream we walked around
and of course took the opportunity to take some pictures.  Remember over the summer when I had a picture
taken with my friend at the sunflower field, yea she took some pictures for
me.  It was super exciting because she
hasn’t photographed me in a while and she was so proud of how far I have
come.  If you would’ve put me in front of
a camera on a busy street a year ago I would’ve been so nervous and would avoid
people at all costs.  Now when I see
people and we have a camera I almost beg to take pictures so they wonder what
we are doing.

I also realized this weekend that I have a lot of photo
shoot sayings that have turned into little jokes.

“For the sake of blogging.”
“Make sure your boobs are centered.”
“Suck in, stick your butt out.”
“Just hangin’ out, ya know, no big deal.”

Now when people honk I just do the Miss America wave and
smile.  I’ve come a long way.

It's really good! The town I live in also has homemade ice cream and they are definitely comparable. I highly recommend them!
