1. The song of the week that is getting me pumped for the
weekend is Jason Aldean-My Kinda Party.
Just the fact that the beginning lyrics say “worked all week, cleaned
up, clean cut, and clean shaved.” I mean
for us ladies we are most likely not referring to our beards/5 o’clock shadow being shaved,
however I just love the song. It’s

3. New extensions. My
Luxy Hair extensions came in on Monday.
They are so amazing! Long,
beautiful, and they bounce like real hair!
I think I may have to be Ariel this year for Halloween with long red
hair like this. Yes, I am also aware
that Halloween is very far away, but I love Halloween.

4. Making Dinner Plans with Ellen Ross! If you haven’t started reading my blog until
now then you don’t know that I found my blogger bestie. Her name is Ellen and she blogs over at Ask Away. What started out as just a
friendly instagram like turned into a comment turned into sitting next to each
other at Lucky FABB which turned into a conversation about how we are twins
which THEN turned into a blossoming friendship.
Not only is she my blogger bestie but she is my real life bestie. When I had my mini breakdown about my blog
she helped me get back on my feet with some tough love and I can never thank
her enough for that. She literally whipped
my butt back into shape. She also is my first
and best repeat customer at my Etsy shop.
She’s bought quite a few jars haha.
Now since we live 3 hours away from each other it’s hard for us
(especially being fur mamas) to meet up even for a night so we have finally set
a date for our second “half way” dinner!
June 8th. 38 more days
until I get to see her, not like I’m counting or anything. I wish that anyone reading this who is a
fellow blogger meets their blogger bestie one day. It’s seriously the greatest and I’m lucky for
it to have happened so fast for me.
Remember distance doesn’t matter either!

5. Getting tweeted by @Kacieskloset I’ve been following her
blog (here) for quite some time and I was in shock when I got to meet her and Style Elixir in person. Both of them are such
sweethearts but anyways, thank you for the tweet! That literally made my week!
And I’m going to add a bonus/extra credit hehe. One of my favorite brands has contacted me about future collaberations and I just can’t tell you how excited I am. I’m not going to reveal anything until I start working with them but I really cannot tell you how happy I am and thankful for the people in my life who have been there by my side through this whole blog. Y’all mean the world to me and I love you to the moon and back!

Okay so I've heard a lot of people talking about the LuxyHair extensions.. I may have to bite the bullet and buy some. I donated my hair last year, and it's taking forever to grow back. I miss my long hair!
