5 for Friday

1.  Song-Country Grammar Nelly. 
Oh yes, I’m bringin’ it back to my high school days.  I heard this the other day and almost died at
how old I felt.  I always tell people
that when I listen to rap/hip hop I always prefer this genre of music from the
south.  I don’t know what it is but I
just like their rap/hip hop better than anyone else.

2.  Quote.  “If she’s
amazing, she won’t be easy.  If she’s
easy, she won’t be amazing.  If she’s
worth it, you won’t give up.  If you give
up you’re not worthy.  Truth is everybody
 is going to hurt you.  You just gotta find the ones worth suffering
for.”  I’ve heard this quote plenty of
times but for some reason it actually hit me this week.  I actually READ the quote, not just read it,
if you know what I mean.  I know, that
doesn’t make any sense whatsoever.  I
love Bob Marley and his music and the fact that this quote is by him just makes
me like him more and I didn’t know that was possible.  It’s true; very short, simple, and to the
point.  I pick and chose the people that
are worth suffering for.  Some people
just get the boot but others I will fight for. 
I’ve had a pretty rough time in the past and I won’t go into that whole
story yet again but let’s just say I wish I saw this quote back then.  It would have saved me a lot of heartache and
disappointment.  You see almost two years
ago my life stopped and I had to start all over again.  Some of you reading this would think well
that’s awesome a fresh start why are you complaining?  With me it was rough because it was one of
the lowest of lows in my life and I did it on my own well not all on my own my
family was with me but I had no friends. 
I actually still don’t have too many friends but my old life is simply
that.  My old life.  Nothing from that life is part of my life
today except for the memories and lessons learned.  So the truth is everybody WILL hurt you at
some point.  Even if it’s just because
you changed the channel and they got all mad at you and got up and walked away
after yelling at you.  Be prepared for
it, but at the same time be prepared to choose wisely the people you WANT to
suffer for, the people who are WORTH the suffering.  Those are the people that will make a
positive imprint on your life forever! 
Don’t take the people worth it for granted.  I may only have enough best friends to count
on one hand three of them being my family/fur family but that’s all I need, at
least in this chapter.

3.  Well now that I got all personal on you let’s get back to 5
for Friday, jeez I ramble too much. 
Number 3 is my blogger meet up this past weekend.  I know that I can’t stop talking about it but
I mean have you seen the pictures from that place?  It was such a great turn out and the three
new bloggers I met are simply totes adorbs.

4.  3 day weekend.  Well,
if you don’t like longer weekends you’re just weird.  Not a good weird, I normally love weird
especially the saying “stay weird” but for realz you’re a bad weird.

5.  One more week until my parents come home! Yippee!  I am seriously excited.  I mean don’t get me wrong it’s nice being
home alone but that statement is bittersweet because I come home and it’s
quiet.  Even if I blast the volume on the
TV, it’s quiet.  I’m seriously not making
any sense in today’s post.  I need to
just stop and get some sleep this weekend!
