A Polished Look

As you can see from yesterday’s post I like to switch up my style A LOT.  I go from laid back and casual to polished attire.  This is why I love fashion.  It’s almost like you’re playing dress up every day you wake up.  At least, that’s the case for me.  It reminds me of when I was younger and I used to pretend I was my mom with her shoes that were too big for me and using her lipstick and attempting to use her eye shadow.  Oh and let’s not forget I had “kids coffee” with her every day and now I have adult coffee.  Actually little side note when I was really young my mom would leave coffee on the table and think the dog was drinking the rest but she caught me red handed one day.  I was just old enough to be able to drink out of cups myself and I had an obsession with coffee.  When I was younger she used to say that there was something called kids coffee aka tea with milk.  It was the same color so she knew I wouldn’t tell the difference but I wanted to be just like her. 

Wow, I got really off topic from what I was originally saying.  Let’s get back to talking about how my personal style changes.  If you’ve been following my blog you have seen all of my different tastes of fashion.  There are the more laid back pieces then there are the Valentino dresses and the polished Ralph Lauren looks, or in this case Missoni and Burberry Prorsum.  One great part is that you can take both of the pieces in this outfit and completely change them up.  The top can be worn with some cute jeans and voila you have a casual outfit.  The black pants can be dressed up with a top and some accessories.  I’m already thinking of more outfits.
