5 for Friday

Wow, it’s Friday already? 
I feel like this week flew by.  Well,
today is 5 for Friday and honestly I can’t even remember 5 things that happened
this week since it’s been so busy so I may actually have less than 5 but anyway
here goes.

1.  BlogHer.  I got
approved for the BlogHer Publishing Network! 
I was so excited.  Now I get that
cool badge and everything.

2.  Writing.  I actually
wrote a lot (emphasis on LOT) more than usual this week.  I
wrote this post about relationships and this post about 9/11.  I don’t know why but lately I’ve been having
this urge to write and maybe it’s because of all of my emotions I have going on that I need to let it out and what better way than to write some extra content for le blog?
3.  Hair.  Ok, so this was SUPPOSED to be a surprise but I scheduled another hair appointment on Saturday morning.  I’m not telling what the appointment is for but I am hoping it comes out the way I want it to otherwise I will have to buy a wig haha.  Actually, maybe I should buy one anyway for fun.
4.  Tis the season.  Ok, so I keep seeing more and more Halloween commercials.  I LOVE Halloween.  There’s something about dressing up and putting on crazy makeup along with all of the horror and ghost stories that makes me excited.  Let’s not forget haunted hay ride, corn mazes, and Weird NJ stories.  

5.  Song of the week.  The Redeemed-Memphis Mayfire.  Ok, I’m warning you don’t click the play button unless you like screamo/hardcore music.  Can you tell I have music genre ADD?  Well I like this song because of the lyrics at the end:
I can’t say, the past will never get in the way.
Just remember, all things come and go, but they don’t mean a thing.
It’s not about what you have now, it’s what you have in store.
Let go.

    Writing is one of my favorite parts of blogging! I like that whenever I have something on my mind I can work it out in blog post form and share it. It helps me, AND creates useful content…so, winning!

      I'm always afraid to write because I feel like a lot of people like looking at pretty pictures. I have so many drafts of posts with good content that I'm just afraid to post.
