I can’t believe I hosted my 4th blogger meetup
this past weekend! I was able to meet
two new bloggers and reconnect with another blogger after we met at Lucky FABB
for the first time. Of course I also got
to see some familiar faces as well. It’s
always a great time with these lovely ladies and I can’t believe that nowadays
most of my closest friends are my blogger friends. I guess they’re the only ones that truly
understand my life because most of us work full time or juggle our own
businesses along with our blogs, some of us even have families to tend to. It’s nice to be able to connect on this level
with women who are so positive and who are following their real passions
through their blogs. I have absolutely
nothing but good things to say about the bloggers I meet.

We are probably the most obnoxious of the bunch, especially if you put us together. We feed off of each other’s weirdness.
The blogger meetup was held at East of 8th last
Saturday and I must say the food was delicious!
They have this great brunch special where it’s $15.95 for a coffee,
Mimosa/Bloody Mary, and food. I decided
to go with the breakfast burrito and potatoes (with melted cheese on top
because cheese just makes everything taste so much better). This was actually my first time ever having a
Mimosa and I must say I can understand what all the hype is about. It’s such a refreshing drink! The staff at East of 8th was
great. They sat us fairly quickly and
the waiters were great. They dealt with
such a large group with no issues. You
know how usually when there’s a big group something always gets messed up? That was definitely not the case here. The set up of the restaurant was beautiful,
and of course I was swooning over some of the décor in there. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re
looking for a nice casual yet classy vibe to accommodate a larger party.

All the girls taking pictures and Instagramming their food.
I’m such a gigantor! I was wearing flats too! I guess I never truly realize how tall I am until I see pictures like this haha.
Bloggers goof off too. These last few pictures had me cracking up on the train ride back home when I was looking at all of my pictures. Also, stay tuned for an OOTD post for my outfit details!
The ladies I met with were Diane from Style Context, Johanna
from Love 2 B Couture, Alex from Glory Boon, Sara from Sincerely Sara, Christie
from The Closet by Christie, Sharon from The Tiny Heart, and Jackie from FiveTwo Certified. It was so great meeting
ALL of you and seeing some of you again.
These meetups for me are bitter sweet because even though I love seeing
these ladies I hate it at the same time because I know it’s only for a few
hours. At least I can start planning the
next meetup hehe.

If you’re a Northeast blogger and are able to meet in NYC or
surrounding areas please contact me so I can put you on the email list! Below are past meetups that I’ve hosted as
well!
