Tribal and Gucci

Cardigan:  Ralph Lauren // Scarf:  Gucci // Boots:  Dolce Vita (similar here)
Oh how I love tribal and how I love scarves.  I love scarves both for the fashion and for
the functionality behind it.  Pretty
much, I love that you can look cute while staying warm.  There are so many ways to wear a scarf
nowadays that I don’t even think I’ve tried them all and I’ve worn scarves as
an accessory for quite some time.  I
remember the first time I wore a light weight scarf in the summer time a long
time ago.  I was looked at as if I had 10
heads.  I don’t think people remember the
fact that back in old Hollywood glamour (for example Marilyn Monroe) they wore
scarves a lot.
Anyway, since then I’ve noticed so many women wearing
scarves as an accessory in all 4 seasons.
It’s pretty awesome to look at all the different ways these scarves are
worn.  Some of the things I’ve seen I would
have never thought of!  It’s a really
interesting way to be creative.  A
blogger I met a while back (Lexicon)
actually has her own line of scarves and on her blog she shows different ways
to wear them.  If you ever need help
styling a scarf, just go to her blog you will be amazed!  She wears a scarf almost every day.
Anyway, I decided since this scarf is somewhat patterned (it
has the Gucci logo) I wanted to pair it with another print; tribal!  I took this cardigan, some black
pants, my Dolce Vita boots, the scarf, and called it a day!  It’s a very casual, yet chic outfit.  Definitely one of my favorites, especially
with this cold weather!  It’s perfect to
either snuggle up on the couch with some hot coffee watching The Walking Dead
reruns, or to go out with a friend either shopping or casual dinner.
By the way, I’m STILL in shock about the mid season finale
to The Walking Dead.   Don’t worry I won’t
spoil it for any of you, and any of you who have seen it don’t spoil it in the
comments for everyone!  All I can say is “Oh
my gawd!”

I love your tribal cardigan! I was on the hunt for one and recently found one at Hollisters of all places, I felt weird being all pregnant with my toddler in a teen's store, but I just had to have that cardigan haha.
