A Fashion, Lifestyle, Mom, and Anti Scam Blog

Allston Village

Hat:  Mom’s Closet (old) // Vest:  Ralph Lauren (Ewa Bazaar) // Pants:  Mom’s Closet // Scarf:  Ralph Lauren (old but more scarves here)
Remember a few weeks ago I said I was going to Boston?  Well here is one of the few (which I already
uploaded some) outfits that I took pictures of.
This is an extremely casual outfit, and I wore it on the ride home.  I wanted to be comfortable, yet somewhat
trendy just in case I had to step out of the car (which I did because I was in
desperate need of coffee).  The hat was
to hide my crazy hair from the wind.  You
know, it gets really windy in Boston sometimes.
I decided I’m not going back to Boston until it warms up because you
have to use public transportation and at least here in NJ where I live I can
take my car anywhere, meaning I am in charge of that heater, AND no standing
outside or walking outside in the cold.
The problem with me is once my nose, fingers, or toes get cold it’s all
over, that’s it I’m going to be cold for hours.
I guess that’s one reason why I hope to one day move down
south or just to a warmer climate.  This
winter nonsense is starting to get old.
I know everyone always wants the opposite because people who have never
seen snow would love to go and watch the snow fall or have a white Christmas,
which I can understand because it really does look pretty.  I think I’m just done with it, after 27+ years,
I’m over it.  Oh well, one day I will go
to a warmer area and bask in the rays of sun that keep me nice and toasty.  I’d rather be sweating than shivering.  Sounds real attractive, I know.
Anywho, enough of me complaining about the weather.  I really can’t believe that we are almost
half way through January.  Is it just me
or are these months just flying by?  I
feel like we just finished Christmas and Valentine’s Day is around the corner
(even though it’s a month away).
It’s crazy, but time flies when you’re having fun, or in my case when
you’re getting old haha.

I also wanted to say thank you to everyone who’s commented the past few weeks.  I’ve been so busy so I haven’t been able to reply and I thank all of you for bearing with me!!!

Your hair looks cute! I am all about some warmth too, I can handle mild cold, but when it gets close to freezing, walking to my car is nearly unbearable to me. So, I totally understand!!

I really like that vest – they're everywhere this season but yours is so different from any that I've seen. Love how you styled it, too!
