Alpaca and Belted

Poncho:  Handmade Alpaca (Ewa Bazaar) // Boots:  Dolce Vita (Lord and Taylor)
No, you’re not going crazy, this
is an old outfit post (my hair gives it away) that I completely forgot to
upload.  So I decided that today was the day
to show everyone.  As most of you know, I
LOVE PONCHOS.  It’s like wearing a giant
blanket, but it’s acceptable to wear it.
It’s great for this time of year because it’s cold, and I’m the first to
admit I’ve totally put on some holiday weight.
I’m sorry, but if my mom puts homemade Polish food in front of me I’m
not going to have ANY self control.  Yes,
we eat the typical pierogi, along with so many other things but everything is
homemade and is so tastey.  Ok, now I’m
making myself hungry and I’m trying to refrain from eating a lot now that I don’t
have the “but it’s the holidays” excuse.
Keyword, trying.
I kept this outfit pretty
simple.  I belted it and then wanted to
show all of you what it looks like without the belt as well.  Either way works for me but I haven’t seen
many people belt a poncho so I figured I’d try it.  I feel like scarves are some of the absolute
best accessories.  You can tie them so
many different ways and you can use them for warmth (the bigger blanket
scarves) or just as an accessory.
Everyone who knows me, knows that I love scarves and I have a very
decent amount of all different types of scarves in my closet.  I definitely have more scarves than
jewelry.  Is that bad?
Oh, and I hope everyone had a good
new year, I keep forgetting we are already in 2015!  I also wanted to take the time to apologize
for being so quiet lately.  I know how so
many of you have been commenting and I’ve been extremely bad with commenting
back so I want to greatly apologize.  These
holidays have been all over the place and crazy busy!  Hopefully within the next week my commenting
will go back to normal.  I also don’t
even read most of my comments until a few days later, that’s how you know I’m
crazy busy.  I really truly do appreciate
all of your bearing with me!

Yup, it's totally like wearing a giant blanket except it's so much cooler! 🙂 I love how you wore the belt with it also! I had not thought about that! Thanks for linking up with us for the Celebrate Southern Linkup! I'm pinning this post! Cheers girl! 🙂
