Secret Santa Gift

Poncho:  Ralph Lauren (Ewa Bazaar) // Pants:  Ralph Lauren (mom’s closet) // Hat:  Ralph Lauren (gifted) // Booties:  Kensie (Lord & Taylor) // Bag:  Louis Vuitton

I know I’m super late with this post but a little over a
month ago I organized a blogger Secret Santa with a few blogger friends of
mine.  It was so much fun to see who
picked who’s name out of a hat and what everyone got.  Most of us know each other because we’ve been
meeting up in NYC, and the rest of us who are new to it had a bigger challenge
because they had to judge by our blogs.
I got Diane from Style Context so I sent her some wire bangles (I used
my mom as a model wrist since her wrists are so tiny) and a small dish mason
jar with a little kitty cat on it because a little birdy told me she liked
cats.  I received an awesome Ralph Lauren
hat from Mel who blogs over at Style is Her.
She knows how much I absolutely obsess over Ralph Lauren and probably ¾ of
my wardrobe is Ralph Lauren.  Once I got
this in the mail I was so extremely excited over it because I mean, it’s Ralph
Lauren, it’s a hat (I love the way hats look on me but I just don’t wear them
enough), and it can go with anything.

I paired this hat with almost a full Ralph Lauren outfit
(except the shoes and bag).  This poncho
has a hood but it’s ok because the hat looks perfect with this outfit.  I love these riding pants that I actually
took from my mom for this outfit.  We tend
to borrow clothes A LOT.  Then these
booties are just amazing.  They’re
slightly too small but I love them anyway.
I love how they bunch up around the ankle and then flare out.  My one coworker who lived back in the day
said that her and her friends used to wear shoes like this and they used to
call them polio shoes.  Why they were
called polio shoes is beyond me because they just look like regular booties,
but I still like to learn about the old terms they used.
Now, if you didn’t read my post from Monday (here) I have a giveaway going on right now and a 20% off coupon code in my Etsy Shop for my 1 Year Anniversary!!
