Casual Valentine’s Day

Hat:  Ralph Lauren (gifted) // Cardigan:  Ralph Lauren (gifted) // Scarf:  Ralph Lauren (Ewa Bazaar) // Boots:  Corral (Cavenders)

Now everyone knows I’m a little city and a little country
when it comes to my fashion sense.  I
kind of flip flop depending on my mood.
So for today’s Valentine’s Day special OOTD I want to show how you can
pair a few casual pieces with red cowgirl boots.  Oh, you KNOW, I had to whip these out for
Valentine’s Day.  These were my third
pair of boots.  They were a birthday
present to myself and I actually wear them for special occasions when I go out
to line dancing bars or just local bar/restaurants.  I live in the middle of nowhere so it’s not
too uncommon to see a girl wearing cowgirl boots.
Anyway, the red cardigan I got from my mom for Christmas
last year and the scarf I’m wearing is so absolutely amazing!  It’s Ralph Lauren (found here) and has a
dream catcher on it.  I love love love
dream catchers.  I have a wind chime in
my room that is a bunch of dream catchers connected.  The hat was gifted from one of my blogger
friends and is also Ralph Lauren.  If you
haven’t noticed I’ve been living in it!
It’s such an awesome hat, plus it’s black, I was in need of a black hat!

I’m not about going out to a fancy shmancy dinner on
Valentine’s Day so this is a casual outfit I’d probably wear to go out to a
regular dinner or the movies.  This is
probably one of my favorite outfits up to date.
I also decided to test out the fish bone braid, I was feelin’ it that
day.

Those red boots look amazing and I'm in love with your fishtail braid. I tried to teach myself to do it {via youtube} one time and it wasn't anything close to what it should have been.
