Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse Romance Mani

It’s officially February.
You know what that means, it’s time for Valentine’s Day.  Even though I’m in a relationship I’m really
not a big fan of Valentine’s Day.  Now it’s
not to the point where I won’t be celebrating because I already got boyfriend
his presents weeks ago.  I feel like it’s
just a holiday for retailers to make up for their losses with holiday
returns.  It’s another money making
holiday.  Remember, this is coming from a
NON single girl so it’s not that I’m bitter and calling it “Single’s Awareness
Day” (as I have in the past).  You should
tell your significant other that you love and care about them every day.  Even if it’s not physically said, your
actions speak louder.  Even if you tell
him/her hey let me wash the dishes for a change, that little action can make a
huge difference.
Anyway, now onto the actual point of this post, the nail art
tutorial part.  First of all I used OPI
as the Topcoat, Sally Hansen Maximum Strength Base Coat, China Glaze (red), and
two way nail art pens for the designs.

First you want to make sure you file your nails and apply
Sally Hansen Maximum Strength prior to applying the red color.  This protects my nails and helps with not
just strength but prevents more yellowing.

Now you want to add the black for designs.  You will be filling in with white later so
make sure you make it a decent size so you can add the white and still have it
look the same.  The main focus of this
design is Mickey and Minnie kissing so make sure you pay close attention to
them.

Now you can fill in with white.  Of course make sure you leave enough black to
give it an illusion of an outline.  Once
they are completely dry add your topcoat!
Voila you’re finished!

Now remember at the beginning of this post when I talked
about how your loved ones should express how much you mean to them all the time
not just on Valentine’s Day?  Here is a
perfect example.  I was painting my nails
and boyfriend decided to surprise me.  I
heard his car (he’s into cars too so let’s just say his exhaust is racecar
loud) and then texted him asking if he was just at my house.  His response was maybe but just make sure you
go to your car before you go to sleep.
There was a bouquet of pink roses on my car and he texted me and said
they didn’t have any stargazer lilies so I got you pink roses instead I hope
that’s ok.  He knows I’m not a huge roses
fan and that lilies are my top favorite but I must say regardless of what
flowers they are just the fact that he left them for me because he knew I was
busy was adorable.  I’m not saying that
your significant other needs to do this or buy you flowers all the time but
every once in a while a random surprise for no reason at all is better than one
day (called Valentine’s Day)  where
society makes you spend crazy amounts of money on flowers and chocolate.  To some people it may be cheesey or whatever
but I never had a boyfriend before the one now bring me flowers for no
reason.
Anyway, enough of me complaining about Valentine’s Day haha,
for those of you who love it I genuinely wish you a great one even though it’s
next week!

Wow! That's amazing. You have a lot of patience to paint your nails like that. I have trouble just keeping the paint on my nail and not getting it on my fingers.
