So Fancy

Top:  Mom’s Closet // Bag:  Louis Vuitton // Boots:  Cole Haan (Marshalls, old) // Skirt:  Burberry (Ewa Bazaar)
I didn’t realize I still had this outfit saved in my
pictures.  So this is a little bit of a
throwback.  I guess we can call this
throwback Tuesday?  Anyway, I wore this a
few weeks ago (obviously you can tell by my hair not being all super light and
the fact that there’s no snow).  I felt
so fancy wearing it because of the tweed.
I don’t know what it is about tweed but it’s so classic and
elegant.  It also makes me instantly
think of the colder months.  Although, I’m
kind of hoping this cold won’t last too much longer.  It’s funny whenever I talk to people and I
say oh did you feel how warm it was today?
Meanwhile it’s about 25-30 degrees and that’s considered warm.
I decided to pair this skirt with a regular black top (for
comfort) and my awesome lace up Cole Haan boots.  I got these boots almost two years ago and I
love them.  I love the color, I love the
comfort, and I love the fact that they lace all the way up.  Thankfully there’s a zipper on the side so I
don’t actually have to lace them every time I want to wear them.  The best part is I found them at
Marshalls!  I definitely love a good
bargain and when I saw these I just couldn’t pass it up.

I also wanted to announce that tomorrow I’m hosting a link up that I’m going to try and make a weekly occurrence.  It’s going to run for about a month to see how it goes so link up tomorrow with whatever you’d like whether it be fashion, lifestyle, health and fitness, or whatever else you would like!

This is such a wearable and classic look! I live in Italy and often time I see wild combos that I do love but I just could never actually wear them on the streets!

I am the same way about tweed! That's why I don't wear it too often because I feel too office-y for our ultra casual office vibe. LOL

I love the skirt, definitely a chic item. Sidenote, I need some tweed in my life. I see that I'm not alone when it comes to borrowing my mom's clothes (cyber high-five). I love your hair by the way.
