9/11
First and foremost I want to take a moment of silence here
on the blog. Once you are done reading
this current sentence, take a few moments.

Ok, I wanted to pay my respects since today is 9/11. I’ve recently been renovating my room as most
of you know and I’ve been walking down memory lane. It just so happens that the other night, I
found an old diary from high school. The
first page described 9/11. I wrote how I
heard someone yelling down our halls because her dad worked there and
unfortunately did not survive. I
remember sitting in class and everyone being glued to the TV as we watched the
news and saw the second plane hit the twin towers. To think, the week prior I was in NY and in
those towers. Since then they have made
it quite beautiful, but there is still an empty place where the towers used to
stand. When you look across the river on
my side (NJ side) it still doesn’t look right.
I don’t think it ever will, not just because the towers are no longer
there, but because of what happened on that day. Since it is so vivid in my mind I won’t ever
forget it. Thank you to everyone who
helped save lives and helped rebuild after this tragic day and I want to send
my condolences to anyone out there reading this who lost someone on this day. Also, the above pictures were taken by me
last year. You are more than welcome to
share them just please credit them back to me, thank you!

Recap from Reviews
Oh my goodness, I had so many reviews this week. On Tuesday I spoke about the
#recycleyourperiodpad campaign that I’m part of with Poise. Click here to read more and receive free
samples of their product! I also talked
about my time at Valley Shepherd Creamery which was by far the best time I had
in a while, and all I did was eat cheese and take a tour on top of seeing some
gorgeous animals. Yesterday’s post was
all about the NJ Lotto! Take a few
minutes to read about NJ Fast play!

BBQ end of summer
So I was invited to an end of summer BBQ tomorrow. Of course I’m going to go, but it’s so
bittersweet for me. I don’t want summer
to be over. Am I crazy for loving summer
and not being excited for fall? Let’s
not forget to mention that I’m not a huge pumpkin spice latte girl. I know I know, you think I’m joking because
who doesn’t like them?! When it comes to
coffee I like regular coffee with milk.
Sometimes I’ll adventure to cappuccino or latte’s but never add anything
else. I like pumpkin spice the flavor
but definitely not as much as a lot of girls.
I’m sorry if I disappointed any of you haha.

Die Antwoord
Ok, I know that they’ve been around for quite some time but
I seriously fell in love with this band.
After watching Chappie and hearing their music play throughout the whole
movie (and watching them in the whole movie) I decided to go to iTunes (yes I
legally download my music lol) and buy some songs. Since then, they’ve been on repeat. I know they aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I like them.

Getting hair done
I’m getting my hair done tomorrow. Yay! I
don’t know if I’m changing it, but I might go a little darker. I’m not sure, I’m staying blonde for a while,
but maybe not as blonde as I have been.
I’m not going to lie, I miss being a brunette and red head!

When I used to dye/highlight my hair I always went a little darker in the fall/winter months!

As much as I've complained about the heat this summer since being pregnant, I have to admit that I'm still sad to say goodbye to summer too!! I love summertime. Enjoy your bbq regardless and we can still enjoy the warm weather for awhile longer. xox, Annie- HomeofMalones

Good finding you on the linkup this week! I vote going darker with your hair – I think a pretty auburn/red color would be beautiful on you for fall! 🙂 ~ Meredith ~ barbeedreamhouse.com

I don't like pumpkin spice either! We had our hottest/driest summer ever where I live, and have had a lot of fires as a result. That's the only reason I'm excited for fall! Typically I'd be crying over an end of summer bbq too :).
