Casual Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner everyone!  For today’s post I wanted to wear a typical Valentine’s Day outfit.  It is the most obnoxious, in your face look.  I’ve worn the white version of these pants quite a few times here on the blog, but today decided to wear a red pair.  I paired it with black boots for a nice contrast and one of my favorite tops that has lips all over it.  I figured this look gave enough sparkle but is still casual.  This is perfect for if you are hanging out with some friends, or if you are going on a casual date with your special Valentine.  This year is going to be a low key year for me because last year’s Valentine’s Day was out of this world.  I’ve never had such an amazing Valentine’s Day, and that is coming from someone who doesn’t really look forward to the holiday to begin with.  I mean, except for the 50% chocolate the next day haha.
To me, a day that is dedicated to love and romance doesn’t have to be expressed with gifts or dinners.  To be it’s a day about you and your significant other.  Don’t get me wrong last year when I was taken out to dinner and had all of these gifts given to me (and my mom) it was breathtaking, but I don’t mind just sitting on a couch and watching a movie while spending time with my person.  This year will most likely be spent comfortably so I think this outfit would be perfect!

Also, I’ll try to add this to every blog post, but if you saw my 5 for Friday post last week I turned to the dark side and went back to being a brunette.  I have a bunch of outfit pictures that still have my blonde hair so bear with me if you see me flip flopping or if you see blonde for another month.  Stay tuned for a nice collaboration tomorrow with some bloggers for a Valentine’s Special, and the linkup goes live tomorrow morning!

    That lip tee is so cute. I love that it has lips all over. It is in your face festive paired with the red pants but I love it. So excited we got to collaborate again, I am even more excited to see you as a brunette though. I bet you look gorg!
