Welcome to the Dark Side & LINKUP

May the 4th be with you to all of my fellow Star
Wars fans.  Hence why I made the title of
this post Welcome to the Dark Side. 
Spring is always about light colors and introducing the summer brights,
however I decided to go with a classic approach and wear a black dress with
sandals.  I love the bell sleeves trend
that is going on, it’s just so pretty and in my opinion girly.
The lace on this dress has to be by far my favorite part of
it.  The fact that it’s black, lace, and
above the knee it can be worn so many different ways.  I also can’t wait to wear it for the holiday
season that is a really long time away! 
I got this dress from Cavender’s when I went on my Cavender’s haul a few
weeks ago.  I got so many new things,
including pillows for my apartment that are sitting so nicely on the
couch.  The only problem is the fur
children like to knock over all of the pillows so they have more room to
sit.  Yes, my dogs are premadonnas
apparently.
I’m so glad that I did do this Cavender’s haul because I’m
starting to run out of clothes.  Do you
ever feel like your clothes have been repetitive and even though you haven’t
worn that specific pair of pants in a year, if you put them on you feel just
bored with it?  Yea, I’m starting to get
to that point so I’ve been trying to find ways to wear the same pair of pants
or dresses, etc.  I don’t think it helps
that I’ve gained weight so I’m just not happy with how I look in a lot of
things.  That’s why I’ve decided to start
doing little mini workouts.  I walk with
the dogs and then when I get home I try and do at home workouts.  It’s actually fun because the dogs try and
distract me and while I’m doing crunches both of them will lay down on my belly
like “hey mom, we’re here, pay attention to us, love us!”  Then they eventually get it and start playing
with one another so I finally have time to do my workouts.  Don’t forget to link up with me today!

    First of all you look gorgeous. I love that dress. This post made me smile because we both mention "May the 4th" in the beginning of the post and we are both wearing a lace dress with sleeves.
