Back to School-What Appliances/Necessities to Bring to College (and LINKUP)

Hey Everyone!  Today
we have another Back to School post for ya. 
Yesterday’s post talked about what clothing to bring to college because
I mean, you can never have too many clothes or shoes.  For today I want to not only focus on this
outfit (aren’t the leggings so awesome???) but focus on what else you should
bring with you to college as in appliances and anything of that nature.

First let’s just talk about this outfit for a moment.  Once it’s a little colder out I will be
living in these leggings when I’m not at work. 
I’ve never seen Corpse Bride leggings before, I really have only seen
Nightmare Before Christmas gear.  When I
saw these I had to snatch them up because I’m a huge Tim Burton fan.  I figured the perfect way to top off this
look is a comfy sweatshirt and my white Converse.  It doesn’t get more “Back to School” than
that.
Alright, so now moving on to the things that you probably
want to actually read about; what you should bring to your dorm.
  • Comforter/Bedspread, Pillow, linens.  Ask what size bed you have but it’s usually a
    twin
  • Clothes hangers
  • Dishes/mug/drinking cups/silverware-or you can just go out
    and buy paper dishes and disposable silverware.
  • Power Strip
  • Cell phone chargers. 
    I would grab an extra one in case the one you have gets taken or stops
    working.  Especially if you have an
    iPhone, those charges don’t last very long.
  • Desk/Bed Lamp
  • TV/Streaming Device
  • Fan
  • Mini Fridge
  • Microwave
  • Robe
  • Shower Shoes-grab the $1 flip flops from Old Navy and stock
    up on them
  • Towels washcloths
  • Fill your Bathroom Caddy with soap, shampoo, shaving cream,
    razors, and anything else that you use in the bathroom like face wash and what
    not
  • Tissues
  • Laundry basket and detergent
  • Cold medicine
  • Band aids
  • Aspirin

Your typical things for school like laptop and all of your
notebooks, pens, penils, calculator, etc.

Ok, now that I’ve gone through some things for you to
bring.  I also did some research because
I didn’t go away to school (I commuted) and my brother stayed in a dorm but I
could not remember the little things that he brought that were important so
some of these things on this list were found through research.  Anyway, moving on to the top 3 bloggers from
