Ok, I know I know, fall is pretty much here. However, I can’t really let go of summer
especially when some of the days are still hot like the summer. Plus I’ve seen some of my favorite southern
and west coast bloggers still enjoying the nicer weather. Boy am I jealous of those ladies!

For today’s post I wanted to show how to wear linen pants
for those last few days of warm weather we have left. I’m a huge lover of scarves and probably have
more scarves than I do anything else, well besides shoes. Nothing in my closet beats the amount of
shoes I have. So for these last warmer
fall days you can wear a tank with a scarf and some lace up flats, or pointed
toe flats. This scarf is from my
Grandma. She gave it to me while I was in
Poland so that I could remember her with something that I would wear a
lot. My grandma was the woman who
started it all. She’s my mom’s mom and
she used to have such a great sense of style.
She still does, but now that she’s gotten older she doesn’t like to
dress up. I mean she’s bought me things
that are trendy and sent them to me. A
few years ago she sent me these awesome tights that she said were trending in
Poland. Now, she passed her love for
fashion to my mom. Although my mom is on
a totally different level. Her passion
for fashion is more than mine and my grandma’s combined. She is the true fashionista of the
family. I’m trying to get my mom to
finally start her own blog because I would love to see what outfits she has
planned every day. I would take so much
inspiration from her. Half the time when
I would dress myself when I lived at home she would tell me nope, I have a
better idea for this outfit. Her ideas
were ALWAYS better.

On a side note I’m really excited for the month of October,
I have so many great posts planned for y’all.
Make sure to stay tuned! My
birthday is next month, along with Halloween, and it’s Breast Cancer Awareness
month so I have a lot of things planned.

How interesting that you come from a line of "fashionable" women 🙂 In my case I think it skipped a generation 😉
I love the scarf your grandma gave you, it was the first thing my eye caught – it looks very similar to one my 95 year old great aunt gave me.
As for linen garments, as much as I like to see them on others I pass because they wrinkle just by looking at them !

I cant believe summer is gone. Still feels like it though. Aren't you lucky to have a stylish grandma. You look great Monica. Happy early birthday.
