Wearing White After Labor Day #1 and a LINKUP

Hey Everyone!  Well I’m officially back from vacation as of yesterday so my recap of vacation posts will be next week.  This week I wanted to share some pictures from before vacation that I wanted to schedule for y’all.  Whoever came up with the whole rule of not wearing white after labor day is just weird.  There are some fashion rules that I don’t understand.  Last time I checked fashion was sort of like an art.  How can you put rules on art?  If there were rules on art would Van Gogh paintings be as beautiful?  Would Picasso be as unique?  That’s why I don’t think “rules” should be followed in the fashion world.  And, aren’t rules meant to be broken?
That’s why for today’s post I wanted to show how to wear a white dress after labor day.  This is also a dress that can be transitioned from summer to fall.  I wore it a lot over the summer because it’s so pretty and once I lost weight I felt confident wearing it and showing off my shoulders and arms.  I added a scarf because I feel like scarves are a must in the fall and in the colder days that are coming up.  The sweater has a little bit of fringe on it (I mean, I really really really love fringe nowadays) which gives this look a little bit of a unique twist.  Now I also wanted to say that I’m co-hosting with Rachel from Garay Treasures again today so check out the link up below!
