Pleated maxi skirts were all the rage in the warm spring and
summer months. I even have a pink one
that I wore quite a few times. I figured
why not bring that trend into the fall, but with darker colors. This particular skirt is actually my
moms. It’s from when my brother and I
were younger. It’s literally the perfect
example of fashion repeating itself.

I was pleasantly surprised when I was able to actually fit
in this skirt! Unfortunately in the
picture the shirt actually bunched up underneath so it kind of “poofed” me out
haha. Yes, I just made up a word! Other than that little outfit mishap the
skirt fits me like a glove. Ok, did
anyone else just imagine Jim Carrey saying “like a glove?”

Anywhoo! I paired
this skirt with my favorite Burberry flannel of all time. It’s seriously the perfect top to dress up,
dress down, it’s office worthy, and it can be worn in different seasons. It’s not just for fall because it’s thinner
than a regular flannel. I love the
colors too.
