Perfect Work and Date Night OOTD and a Linkup!

Ok, if you checked out yesterday’s post (here) you saw a sneak peek of this outfit.  I really couldn’t resist.  I was so excited about this outfit because it’s one of my favorites.  It’s perfect for work, but it’s also date night ready as well.  The top, pants, and necklace are all from Banana.  I’ve already worn this outfit multiple times, yes, this exact outfit.  Before I lost all of this weight I would never be caught dead in a peplum top.  They made me look bigger than I already was and they were NOT flattering at all.  When I went shopping with my mom she actually picked out the top and pants and I said absolutely not, she told me just to try it.

Well mama, you were right.  As you are EVERY. SINGLE, TIME.

I actually feel good in this outfit.  The peplum top’s construction is amazing.  It’s just absolutely beautiful.  It’s boyfriend’s favorite too and he hates all of my work clothes.  That’s why I said this is perfect for work and date night because it’s boyfriend approved haha!  No, not really, I just feel confident in it and I feel as though when you’re going out on date night you need confidence.  Even if you’re comfortable with your significant other, that little boost of “I look really damn good” makes ALL the difference.
