Nautical in the Winter

Who says you can’t have nautical vibes in the winter?  I am loving this nautical dress from Ewa
Bazaar.  I love that it’s long sleeve, so
even when it starts getting a little warmer you can wear this with a vest, or a
scarf.  Excuse my pastey white legs, they
look so pale! 

I also saw a quote (nautical inspired of course) the other
day.

“A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor.”

Now if you have been reading my recent blog posts you know
that it’s been pretty rough for me in my personal life.  I won’t be disclosing what is going on
because certain things I like to keep private (I have no idea how some of those
vloggers literally film their entire life, I would feel so awkward and exposed).  However, I saw that quote and smiled.  It’s true. 
It’s kind of like what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger.  I’ve been keeping my head up over the past
few weeks and have been powering through my days with everything going on in my
life.  However, this week has been pretty
ok, definitely filled with more laughter than last week, that’s for sure!
