Everyday Sparkles and a Linkup

Faux Leather Jacket: Make Me Chic // Skirt: Banana Republic (it was on sale!) // Tank:  Ewa Bazaar // Shoes:  Betsey Johnson (Marshalls, Old)
Every once in a while I’ll buy a piece of clothing that I’m
not sure if I’ll ever wear it, but it’s pretty so I want it hanging in my
closet.  Well, this skirt along with
another one in blue are one of those pieces. 
I bought the same skirt in two different colors and when I bought them I
wasn’t sure if I would ever have a chance to wear them.  Then I thought about wearing them casually
instead of dressed up like most people would think sequins need to be
worn.  This outfit is something I would
wear to go out in.  If the boyfriend and
I were to go to dinner and a movie I would totally wear this.  It’s edgy with the right amount of glam,
without looking like I was confused when I got dressed.
The great part about this outfit is it shows every side of
me.  The faux leather jacket shows my
rebellious fun side, the skirt shows my truly girly and wannabe princess side,
and the tank shows the simple side.  I’m
a little bit of everything, that’s why whenever I’d be asked to describe myself
it was always hard.  Or even worse when
people would say describe yourself with one word.  How can a person describe themselves with one
word?  Everyone on this earth is an
interesting being.  No matter how boring
a person is, you cannot describe them with one word.  That boring person, might just be boring
because they had an adrenaline filled life prior to you meeting them and they
want to slow down.  Or that rowdy and
spontaneous person you met, may have been the quiet one who kept to themselves
ten years ago, and then something was just triggered in their body where they
thought they need to live life to the fullest.
That’s why you can’t describe a person with just one
word.  I’m a mix of everything.  Anyone who has read up to this point, I want
you to try and describe yourself in one word. 
It’s just not possible!  Every
person on this planet is more than just one measly word.
