Pant Suit for St. Patrick’s Day and a LINKUP

Pant Suit:  Banana Republic (on sale, can’t find the link) // Belt:  Burberry Prorsum (old) // Shoes:  Guess (Marshalls, old)
I own a romper and I’ve been very open to trying on different
rompers and wearing the one I have.
However, I always had this issue of it being a little snug because my
torso is long (I’m tall).  I never even
thought to try on a pant suit.  This
particular pant suit my mom was trying so hard to get me to try on the last
time we went to Banana Republic.  I didn’t
want to because I didn’t see myself looking good in it, nor was I ready for the
disappointment because even though I had dropped so much weight, I just wasn’t
ready.
Good thing I didn’t try it on because I would’ve purchased
it, and when my mom and I went to BR this time around it was on sale!  Let’s just say it was a piece that I’m super
proud of.  The price I paid was just
unheard of.
I wore this with my infamous wide Green Burberry Prosrum
that has made quite the appearance on this blog.  I bought this while I was visiting my brother
at college with my mom a few years ago.
I have been wearing it since, well except for the time where I gained so
much weight I couldn’t buckle it anymore, but let’s save that discussion for
another day!  I would definitely wear
this to work and I would bring the belt and wear it for date night afterwards
because it glams it up a little bit.  I
was actually surprised that the boyfriend liked this pant suit.  I fell in love with it the moment I put it on
and then he started laughing when I told him that you literally have to take
the whole thing off except the pants if you have to use the bathroom because it’s
a one piece.  I felt really good in this,
which is strange considering I didn’t even want to try it on a few months
ago.  I think my confidence has been
slowly coming back even more because I have confidence that I didn’t know I
even had!
I also wanted to apologize to everyone who has been
following my linkup every Wednesday.
With how busy I have been I haven’t been able to add the top 3 most
clicked on bloggers for a month now.  I
think until the hustle and bustle of everyday life slows down a little bit I
think I will have to keep it this way and just add the linkup.

I’ve linked all things green for St. Patrick’s Day below:

!function(doc,s,id){ var e, p, cb; if(!doc.getElementById(id)) { e = doc.createElement(s); e.id = id; cb = new Date().getTime().toString(); p = ‘//shopsensewidget.shopstyle.com/widget-script.js?cb=1489499061469?cb=’ + cb; e.src = p; doc.body.appendChild(e); } if(typeof window.ss_shopsense === ‘object’){ if(doc.readyState === ‘complete’){ window.ss_shopsense.init(); } } }(document, ‘script’, ‘shopsensewidget-script’);
