This entire week has been all about Easter outfits and
reviews. I feel like I’ve had so many
recent things happening here on the blog.
For today’s blog post I’m showing y’all the last installment of my
Easter series. This year I’ve kept it
kind of simple for Easter with most of my outfits this week, especially this
one. I felt like dressing it up a bit by
adding the lace cardigan. I think it
helps dress this look up a bit.

There’s quite a story behind these pants though. I bought these a few years ago at Marshalls
and told myself that I would lose weight to wear them because they were
slightly tight. Well I lost the
weight. Then last year when I went to go
put them on, I couldn’t button them! I
felt like a sausage in them, they were so tight and uncomfortable. I wore them on the blog about this time last
year. In those pictures the button isn’t
buttoned, just the zipper is holding them up.
After those pictures were taken I went to the store and bought some
bigger pants. Now, I can barely wear
them because they are way too big. This
means I lost even more weight than I put on, and that’s a great feeling. With that being said, Easter morning I’m
eating all of the food that my mom puts on that table, along with all of the food
at my boyfriend’s parent’s house! Let’s move on to some Easter outfit ideas!

The above outfit is perfect because it’s a black dress (so it hides any food babies that y’all will have after eating all of those eggs and jelly beans lol). I decided to accessorize it with some fun bright colors. A pink blazer will always be a must have in my closet because, well, I love pink. These blue shoes have been showing up on this blog since basically day 1. I just love them that much!
Since Easter and spring are all about pastels, this mint
green jacket was part of one of my Easter ensembles last year. I paired it with this dress that I bought
from Target a few years ago. I wore it
to Lucky FABB back in 2013. That was a
really fun event. But anyway, I also
decided to do a side braid. It’s the
perfect way to make your hair look like it took a lot of time, but it really
didn’t. It takes me longer because I use
extensions, but you get the point.

I think I will always have a love for fringe. I bought this fringe kimono in Poland back in
2014 and have been wearing it since.
This white dress is also one that I bought from Target many years
ago. If you couldn’t tell I love buying
clothing that I can wear for multiple occasions both formal and informal and
finding different ways to wear it. For
this picture for example I paired it with a wide belt and kimono and booties,
in another outfit post I paired it with a bunch of gold accessories for a fun
NYE look and then I also wear it casually.
I actually did wear this for Easter the same year that I took this
outfit photo. I paired it with a
different color belt.

This was one of my favorite looks in the past. It’s so weird to see these old pictures and
how my style has evolved. I still wear
these yellow pants although now they are too big on me. I actually don’t know where this blazer
went. I need to find it because I’ll
definitely want to wear it this year with the warmer months coming.

Also, in case you missed any of this week’s posts, they are listed below!
**Please note the lace cardigan, fringe/tassel earrings, off the shoulder dress, and extensions in the last picture have been provided to be as a review in previous posts, however all opinions are my own.

So many pretty ideas, Monica! I especially love the cute mint jacket. Perfect for Easter, because April weather can be so unpredictable, right? Haha. Sometimes it's 90 degrees here in Austin, and then yesterday I woke up and it was 50!
Happy, happy Friday, girl!
