Spring OTS and a Linkup

Spring is in full swing here in NJ!  We’ve had a few cold and rainy days, but also a few really nice warm ones as well.  This week is all about shoulders here on the blog!  I know this will sound weird, but for whatever reason, I really like my shoulders.  I used to hate them because they’re really broad, but now I love that they’re this way.  They make me different.  I love that I get to show them off with anything OTS.  I prefer OTS as opposed to cold shoulders, but that’s just personal opinion I think.  I know that the print is typical for spring, but I mean, how can you not?  It’s warmer out and it’s just perfect weather.  Now, I don’t know if you can see it in the photos but the dress has a lovely scallop trim.  I love scallop trims, there’s something just so girly about them.

I’m so excited for spring because as much as I hate allergies I love being able to go outside with no jacket on and smell the spring air.  I love the longer days and warm nights and being able to go for a drive with the windows down or in the boyfriend’s case with the T-Tops off.  He recently bought a car (I’m not allowed to say what in case anyone we know is reading this lol) and it’s his dream car.  It’s not a new car, it’s an older one but it’s one that he’s been wanting since he was 14 years old.  So, lucky for me my car won’t rack up anymore mileage or use lots of gas because he wants to drive everywhere.  It’s nice to be a passenger for a change because his car is just as fast as mine haha.  Now we argue over who’s car is faster, yes we are THAT couple.  We don’t argue about normal things like who’s turn it is to wash dishes or who’s turn it is to feed the dogs, we fight over our cars lol.  Since we have two completely different cars in completely different scenes (mine’s JDM and his is American muscle) we can go to so many different car shows/meets.  I personally like going to the American muscle car shows better because those cars are just beautiful, especially the classics and you get to meet people who have seen the car industry evolve because a lot of them are also older, whereas JDM is more of a newer thing where a lot of the younger crowd prefer.  Not like anyone reading this really cares about what cars I prefer, but it is a hobby that I enjoy so sorry for the rant, let’s move on to the link up shall we haha?
