Life has been so crazy lately which is why I’ve been really
quiet when it comes to nail art. I’ve
also had a lack of inspiration. I guess
it’s kind of like a writer’s block but for my nails. That’s why I’ve been loving the minimalistic
nail art that has been popping up all over social media. The more I see it the more I fall in love
with it. It’s quick, easy, and if you
have a somewhat steady hand you can do it yourself.

Now, there is also another reason why I did this nail
art. My nails are all super short. The reason why is a few weeks ago if you read
about my gruesome Walking Dead looking nails that were real they grew out. Thankfully none of them fell off which is
fantastic because I honestly thought I might lose my nails. Since then they’ve grown out quite a bit (my
nails grow like weeds, it’s insane) so I was actually able to do some kind of a
nail art. I filed down some of my other
nails and of course another 2 broke right before sitting down to paint them (go
figure, happens every time), so after that I just decided to make them all
short and one length. It’s weird having
them this short because I can’t scratch anything or pick anything up. How do people bite their nails and still
function with normal everyday tasks like picking up a coin or scratching an
itch?

With all of that being said I wanted to go back to the nail
art discussion in the beginning of this post.
I don’t know if I will continue doing nail art or if I will just do it
for special occasions because I just had not had time or ideas. We will see, because if not I need to think
of something else to fill this Monday slot on le blog!
