Today is Friday! Not
only is it Friday, but it’s the start of a 4 day weekend for me. I decided to take Monday off for the 4th
of July. The boyfriend and I are going
to upstate NY for the weekend and I’m excited to just relax for a few days before
we have to start packing and getting prepared for our first ever vacation
together. I don’t really consider these
trips to upstate NY as vacations because it’s so close to home. Ok, maybe 1.5 hours isn’t that close, but
when you live in the woods, and then you go away for the weekend in the woods,
it’s not really a change of scenery. In
two weeks we will be leaving the country and going back to see my family in
Poland.

I’M. SO. EXCITED.
I don’t think he is because he hates change and hates
traveling, but I’m hoping he will have fun.
Which is why I want to do all of the typical tourist type things so that
he can see how beautiful Poland really is.
I’m also happy because he can finally just relax and chill out. When we are home he’s constantly fixing
something or working on something because something ALWAYS has to break in our
group of friends, or his family. So, it’ll
be nice to just get away from everything and have some time for just us to
enjoy each other.
