For the second week while we were in Poland it was pouring rain 3 days out of the 5 that we were there. I eventually ended up buying myself a pair of rain boots at the flea market in Gdynia. This was basically my outfit on repeat because of the rain. I didn’t want to dress in anything else so the second week wasn’t too fashionista’ish.
When we arrived in Gdansk it was already raining so we were basically going to go to a store called Bolesławiec which sells Polish pottery that I’m adding to my collection instead of fine china. I love that each piece is hand painted and you have the name of the person who painted it on the back. Every year I go to Poland I always bring something back to add to my collection or my mom’s. This year I got coffee/tea cups and saucers. I’m hoping to one day have a complete set. We actually joke about it and call it the no no plates lol.
I’ve written about Gdansk here on the blog quite a few times. I wanted to share some more pictures with all of you today.
That building is actually a functioning mill.
Here’s the mill.
Another church.
The above is a statue of Neptune.
Gdansk is hands down a beautiful city. It’s part of Trojmiasto/Tri-City and next time we go I’m going to do more touristy things with the fiance because there were a few things I wanted him to see in Gdansk but unfortunately it was terrible weather.
