Black Maxi and a Fundraiser

When I saw this maxi at Banana Republic I couldn’t help
myself.  I immediately saw how to wear it
dressed up and down in my head.  I had to
get it.  Plus, it was on sale.  I know that we are getting into the colder
months, but I did want to show how to wear it casually in the fall time.  It’s so easy to wear maxi’s in the fall.  People don’t realize how easy it actually is.

I paired this maxi with my Banana Republic Jacket that I
bought last season.  I’ve only worn it a
few times, but I do love the embellished flowers on the top.  I wore my new slip on loafers that I keep
getting comments on.  Some people love
them, other people think they are way too flashy.  I mean, they are super gold, but I love a
good statement shoe.

Now, onto a serious topic. 
On September 2nd, we lost a really amazing person.  His name is Kyle.  He was basically like a brother to my fiancé,
and I knew him by association for the past 10 years.  The reason why I’m telling y’all this, is
because now his 6 year old son and the mother of his son only have one source
of income.  My fiancé, a few people, and I
started a GoFundMe page.  We are trying
to raise as much money as possible (which is why the campaign max amount is so
absolutely ridiculous we aren’t actually trying to get to that amount, we just
know that Kyle would have wanted to set it that high just for a good laugh) and
even if you can’t donate (but seriously, any donation counts even if it’s $5)
if you could share the campaign it would mean a lot to a lot of people.  We will leave this GoFundMe open for a little
while because we want to raise as much money as possible.  It’s greatly appreciated whether you donate
or just share the campaign to get the word out.
