It’s Friyay! I’m super excited because today I have an update on a few new beauty products I’ve been using. These are part of my daily routine now. There may only be a few products seen above, but I promise you they make a HUGE difference. Make sure to read the end of this post for another fundraiser that I want to share. It’s different from the one I shared earlier this week.
1. Primer
I have been obsessed with my Smashbox Photo Finish Primer. This stuff is seriously the bomb! I have really large pores so any type of primer that helps diminish the look of large pores I’m a HUGE fan of. I swear by this primer!
2. Foundation
Ever since I was able to review this Bare Minerals BarePro Liquid Foudnation (in this post) I fell in love. I always set it with my Bare Minerals Powder foundation as well. The contouring bronzer is still the same as it was last time from Ulta. I seriously love this little $10 bronzer, it’s the best.
3. Under Eye Concealer
I wish I knew that IT Cosmetics under eye concealer was the bomb dot com earlier. It doesn’t cake under my eyes where I have some wrinkles/creases (whatever you want to call them lol). It’s not a super crazy color difference between my concealer and foundation, AND a little goes a long way. In my latest makeup tutorial on my YouTube channel you can’t even see the concealer, that’s how little I have to put on. It’s such great coverage too.
4. Eyes (Brows and Lashes)
Ok, so, I’ve dabbled in the world of eyebrows, eeeeekkkkk (that’s a nervous eekk). I started to use Kabrow by Benefit. That’s more of my weekend brow, but my weekday brow is L’Oreal (which is wayyyy cheaper if you’re on a budget and works great so far, it’s not pictured above though). My lashes I’ve been switching between Lancome Monsieur Big (but I got the smaller sample size from Ulta to try, but I think I may have to start splurging this stuff is awesome). I also use L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise. This stuff is great too. It’s a great less expensive alternative and the quality is a little bit below the Lancome, but honestly not by much.
5. Cosmetics Bag
I got this new cosmetics bag from Kinzd. This thing is so perfect. It’s big enough to fit everything, and then some. The greatest part is it isn’t tall so it doesn’t take up a lot of room and it’s fabric so if you need to fold it, it will. It’s also wide enough to add some toiletries as well. It’s very well made as well, and I think this bag will last me for quite some time. I have an issue with makeup bags, they just keep getting bigger and bigger haha.
I also wanted to take some time to tell y’all about another Fundraiser that I wanted to tell everyone about. It’s not the same one as earlier in the week with my friend who passed away, this one is for one of my brother’s friend’s. His name is Dustin and he’s trying to raise money because him and his fur baby Pandy are now homeless due to Hurricane Harvey. As of the beginning of the week, it was announced that his complex would be condemned so they are now in fact homeless. He took his dog with him and they were trying to find shelter anywhere since a lot of places wouldn’t take pets, but he found a hotel that allowed him to bring Pandy. If you can’t donate to his GoFundMe then at least share his story so that we can help him out a little bit. Dustin, if you’re reading this I hope you and Pandy find a good home to rebuild your life together! And, thank you for taking your pup with you and not leaving him behind.
