Comfort and Style Tips with Cuddl Duds

A lot of times when you think of fleece, plain long sleeve
shirts, and leggings, you think of comfort, staying home, being cozy, etc.  For today’s post which is sponsored by CuddlDuds, I wanted to show how to wear all of these types of things in a more fashionable
sense.  It’s extremely easy to be
comfortable but still be fashionable.  It
may not be super high fashion, but it’s definitely possible. These are sneak peeks of outfits that are yet
to come on the blog so you will be seeing these again.

Top:  Shein // Leggings:  Cuddl Duds // Shoes:  Old Navy // Bag:  Karl Lagerfeld (similar here)
Now I know that a huge fashion faux pas nowadays is wearing
leggings as pants.  I am one of those
firm believers that with the proper top/proper leggings you can totally wear
leggings as pants.  First and foremost
you need to make sure they aren’t see through if your bum area is going to be
exposed to the world.  Which is why if
you look in the above outfit I’m wearing leggings as pants because these are
the Double Plush Velour Leggings in black and they are really thick.  If they were thinner I would definitely layer
a longer tunic to cover my bottom half.
This particular velour is so extremely soft too.  I was able to dress these up a little bit
because they are velour.  I know that
some women will still wear leggings that are see through, but in the previous
few sentences, those are my favorite tips on how to wear leggings as
pants.  I mean, who doesn’t love
leggings?!  They are so extremely
comfortable!

Top:  Cuddl Duds // Vest:  Gamiss // Pants:  LOFT // Booties:  Old Navy (sold out, but similar at Target here) // Backpack:  Embrazio
I feel like closet staples should always include regular
short sleeve tees and long sleeve shirts.
I would stick with colors like white, black, and neutrals because they
are easier to transition between seasons.
I decided to go with the black long sleeve top from the Softwear withStretch collection by Cuddl Duds.  This
top is perfect for layering.  I decided
to pair it with a vest.  This is perfect
for those days where it’s just starting to get a little colder.  We’ve had some abnormal weather here in NJ
with it actually being hot, but every once in a while we will get a colder day.  That is why it’s perfect to pair a long
sleeve top with a vest.  It keeps your
chest warm, but it doesn’t keep the rest of you crazy hot so you can still be
somewhat comfortable.  This long sleeve top
would also be great for those colder days when you are lounging around the
house (or in my case apartment) sipping on some hot cocoa/coffee and watching
movies all snuggled up in bed with my fur babies.
