Y’all I’m so sad! I got this Erno Laszlo Vitamin C Peel Mask complimentary from Influenster and I was so excited to try it. I was super excited when I opened it because it smelled so good. If you like citrus then this is definitely the mask for you.
Unfortunately though, this caused me to break out. I don’t know why, maybe it’s something in the formula but after I made the video below on my YouTube channel the next morning I woke up with the worst skin I’ve had since my acne days in high school. I read other reviews and it looks like I was the only one with this issue. Maybe it wasn’t caused by the mask? I have been weary to test it out again because I have not broken out like that in a while. I’m assuming it’s because along with combo skin, I have sensitive skin. Maybe there was something in this that aggravated my skin. When I was younger I had really bad eczema (every once in a while I have a flare up, but haven’t had one since high school) so maybe there was something that caused an allergic reaction?
I’m so sad that I cannot write a good review, but I did still want to introduce this product to everyone. I did love the smell of this product and the serum was awesome (I love serums) and the moisturizer did make my skin silky soft. I’ll be sticking to what I already have in my bathroom though because I’m afraid of getting a breakout again. I will say, don’t base your opinion just off of my post, I read other reviews and they have nothing lower than 4.5 star reviews. I didn’t read of anyone breaking out either.
