Sweater: Old Navy // Scarf: Old Navy (currently on sale!) // Pants: LOFT (probably the best jeans I’ve bought in a while) // Flats: Old Navy // Bag: Karl Lagerfeld (thanks mommy)
I’ve been really into the mustard color lately. I know that we are in December which is
holiday time and that calls for reds, metallics, glitter, etc. I’ve been really diggin’ mustard. So for today’s outfit I’m wearing a mustard
sweater which is crazy warm. I’m also
loving this scarf, the only downfall is be careful what you wear it with
because it sheds.

I did want to take the time to say thank you. I have been extremely terrible with catching
up with some of you who comment on my posts whether you’re a fellow blogger or
a loyal reader. It has been an extremely
tough time for me over the past few weeks and time seems to have sped up where
I can’t even remember half of what I’ve done since I ran into my health
issues. I want to say thank you to those
of you who reached out to me. It means
so much to me that people who have never met me before and who just see my
pictures or read my posts have so many good vibes, prayers, and love to share
with me. I’m truly blessed to have each
and every one of you in my life, regardless of if it is just over the
internet. It’s so extremely comforting
to read your sweet comments. For those
of you who are wondering what’s going on I’m still deciding whether or not I
want to share it with all of you, but I’m leaning more towards yes because I
know there has to be at least one person out there who reads my blog who I can
possibly help even if it’s just for them to smile and say “I’m not alone.” We all have our own issues (big or small) and
I know that sometimes a lot of us take this life for granted. I know I did until my friend had passed away
in 2013 and I changed my life. Then fast
forward to the past few weeks. I’m not
going to lie to y’all, I have taken life for granted over the past few
months. I’ve been just kind of going
through the motions and not really taking time to just stop and relax for a
minute. I don’t mean sitting down and
scrolling through Facebook either, I mean actually sitting down and relaxing
and just enjoying life. I know that
sounds super corny and what not, but it’s how I’m feeling.

Because of everything that has happened over the past few
weeks I’ve been looking into different ways to take control of my body and my
health. I feel as though I’ve “let
myself go” over the past few months. I
still eat mostly healthy and work out, but I feel like I need to make a serious
change in diet. I’ve read that with the
condition that I do have, there’s a specific diet that might be able to help so
I’ve decided that starting January 1st, I will take one step to
bettering my health. I’m sure I’ll never
be taken off of medication, but if this can help me just to feel a little
better, I’m so ready to try it. I’ll
talk more about that specific diet next week because I have a whole health post
planned for you since we are getting close to the new year.

Not sure what is going on but I am hoping your okay. I have experienced periods of extreme stress that really make my body act out and I have to take a step back and re evaluate what is going on in my life. I love your mustard sweater and totally am jumping on that bandwagon! Much love girl!

I'm so sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. It is truly important to relax and take care of yourself, and it sounds like you've been doing just that. I have an auto-immune disorder and can probably relate; diet really helps me, so I hope it does for you as well. Hang in there, lady!
