Whenever I see cherry blossom trees (these pictures are from a few weekends ago) I always think of new beginnings. I guess it’s because it’s spring time, and the flowers come back, it starts getting warmer, the awesome cars come back out, and in my opinion, life is so much better. I hate winter and I hate the cold, but that is life in NJ. I always love it when it’s spring because even with allergies, I come back to life. Recently I have had A LOT of new beginnings. If you read my post from Friday, I gave a quick life update. In that post I talked about a how I started a new job back in the middle of April and how my $25,000 worth of credit card debt is fully paid off. Life is good.
I have no secret as to how I paid off all that debt, besides in the beginning I just put most of my paycheck towards my credit cards (the one with the highest interest) and I lived at home with my parents so it didn’t matter. I also opened up credit cards (two) that were no interest for a certain amount of time. I would treat myself every once in a while so I wouldn’t go crazy. Kind of like a diet, where I would eat really healthy all week and cheat on the weekends. That was another thing I mentioned on Friday. I’ve decided I’m done with diets, for now at least. I’ll try to be mindful of what I eat, but if I want a piece of pizza, I’m going to eat it. I always feel better on a diet, but it’s so hard for me to maintain. I enjoy food. I really really really love food. My fiance doesn’t understand this love for food, because he’s the complete opposite; he HATES eating. He only eats so he doesn’t die. I wish I could be like that sometimes, but I love, loving food more haha. My fiance thinks I should’ve been born Italian because of my love for food and wine.
Have y’all had any new beginnings recently? I’d love to hear about them!
