Joligrace Makeup Case Review

Make Case:  Found here

I have loved makeup for quite some time.  I remember when I was in 8th grade and I was one of the only girls who didn’t wear makeup.  One of my friends at the time had put on a little bit of eyeliner and I remember sitting on the bus trying to rub it off (I did this a few times actually) because I wasn’t allowed to wear makeup.  Well my mom noticed.  Needless to say I didn’t really get in trouble, but I guess my mom knew that it was bound to happen eventually.  I started to wear more makeup as I got into high school.  No foundation or powder, just a little bit of eyeliner every once in a while.

I really didn’t start wearing foundation or powder until I was much older (after college).  I would put on a little concealer because I have raccoon eyes and was always super self conscious about them.  A lot of people would ask me if I’m sick and I would have to respond with “no this is my face, just with no makeup.”  I guess it’s a good thing I didn’t really wear makeup because it probably preserved my skin a little bit.  Nowadays I’ll go all out with makeup basically anytime besides work.  When I go to work it’s strictly eye concealer, eyebrows, and mascara.  I’m trying to let my face rest from the times that I do pack on the makeup.

Anywhoo, I was lucky enough to have Jolie Grace reach out to me and ask to review one of their makeup cases.  I chose the one with the constellation type design.  If you know me, you know that I love the stars, and I actually took astrology in college as an elective.  Yes, I took a real class as an elective haha.  I chose this case because it reminded me of the one sewing box my mom has that’s vintage and folds out like this.  My only recommendation is that you make sure you put all of your heavy makeup in the bottom, otherwise it will tip over.  I put all of my foundations in the bottom because since most of them are glass bottles, they are heavier.

The case itself is really amazing quality.  The latch is really sturdy, the setup of the whole thing is perfect.  You can even put brushes in there, and it will close perfectly.  I highly recommend this case to y’all! They also have travel cases and some fabric ones too.

**Please note, I received this makeup case as a review, however all opinions are my own.

xoxo Monica
