Audrey Hepburn Halloween Costume & Your Own Twist Linkup

Today is the start of a new linkup for my friend over at Shelbee On The Edge.  We met a while ago in this cyberspace/blogging community.  Then, a few months ago we met in real life.  She is such an awesome blogger and friend.  We talked for so many hours because we just clicked.  You know how you just click with someone instantly?  That was us.  We will only do this linkup once a month because both of us are extremely busy and just wouldn’t be able to keep up with this linkup and we want to make sure you get the best of the best out of us.  The purpose of this linkup is to take one item and style it two different ways since our style is different, but we love some of the same things!  For this first linkup we wanted to do something fun.  We decided to make this a Halloween themed post and style a Halloween costume with something that we have in our closet.  I chose to go with Audrey Hepburn because I realized, she is one costume that I haven’t been here on the blog.  Even though I’m obsessed with Marilyn Monroe, I wanted to try Audrey first.

I had fun with this outfit because I couldn’t find my pearl necklaces anywhere so I went with this necklace instead.  I didn’t have a tiara for my hair, so I used one of the bracelets that I used to make to put over my hair, sadly you can’t see it in these pictures.  Make sure to check back with us every month for this linkup because we are super excited about it and feel like we will have fun with it!

Hey Jersey Girl Texan Heart, and Shelbee on the Edge readers!  Both of us decided to do a fun linkup once a month (since we are both super crazy busy).  Every month we will host this linkup, in hopes to inspire some of you fashionistas out there.  The idea behind this is to take one piece and style it our own way since we have both taken a lot of fashion inspiration from one another.  This edition (our first one! eekk), is going to be a little different because we wanted to have fun with a Halloween theme.  We both had to style a Halloween costume with things that we already had in our closets.  Shelbee on the Edge went for Iris Apfel since she is a FASHION ICON, and Jersey Girl, Texan Heart went for a classic Audrey Hepburn look.  Join us below!

You are so adorable! I love you as Audrey! Plus Audrey is one of my favorite fashion icons of all time. I had to laugh that we both chose fashion icons for our Halloween costumes though. Great minds definitely think alike! I am super excited for our new link up collaboration and I will send an email today to my linky group and introduce it! Have a fabulous day!
