The pupperinos were watching me in the above picture, I had to share it.
I know that my birthday was a few weeks ago (and everyone is sick and tired of pumpkin picking posts haha), but I honestly forgot about writing this post until now haha. First and foremost I wanted to thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday on this post. Y’all are amazing, and I love everyone who reads my blog everyday and genuinely cares. Y’all are the real MVP’s!
Since I don’t really choose to celebrate my birthday that much anymore, I requested the fiancé to take me pumpkin picking. I love going pumpkin picking. I’d rather do that than go to a fancy shmancy dinner. My goal this year was to find the ugliest/reject pumpkins out there. I chose this one with warts on it (that’s what I call them) and a green pumpkin. I’m weird, and like weird things. We did the whole cliché thing when we went pumpkin picking. First of all we went to Riamede Farm in Chester NJ. We usually go to Alstede Farms in Chester, but we saw the parking situation from a distance and we just weren’t having it. We decided to try a new farm which was down the road and somewhat secluded. While they didn’t have all of the attractions that Alstede has, it was totally worth it for pumpkin picking. If you are just going pumpkin and apple picking then Riamede is definitely perfect for you, but if you are looking for farm animals, and lots of activities for the kids, along with lots of different vegetables, then go to Alstede. Or if you just like peace and quiet, then Riamede is the better option.
Personally, I love the peace and quiet, but if we are making it an all day event I’ll be going to Alstede. Plus, they have goats. I.LOVE.GOATS.
I can’t believe it’s November already. I honestly feel like the summer was just yesterday. It’s starting to get cold, and super dark in the morning. However, on the upside, we change our clocks soon and gain an hour of sleep!
 xoxo Monica

Haha! I don’t eat the pumpkins, I used them as decor and then the squirrels feast on them at night time haha!

Happy birthday and congratulations on your engagement.
I love that you pick the ugliest pumpkins – so something I would do.
That jacket is fabulous – the color and the cut. Just everything about it.

Isn’t it crazy it is November already?! I don’t like the fact that time seems to slip away too fast this time of year and I am definitely bummed that pumpkin patches have ended and we are now thinking of Thanksgiving. Such is life, huh? Well, in any event, I like your jacket that you are sporting here. It looks mighty soft and most of all, I am loving those braids! I haven’t quite mastered this braiding hairstyle technique so you’ll have to teach me how to do it. I hope you had a great weekend and happy Monday Monica!

I will totally teach you how to do it! And yes, November usually makes me sad because Halloween is over, it’s getting colder, and the madness of the holiday season begins!
