Your Own Twist Monthly Linkup with Shelbee On The Edge

Bag:  Lasocki (Polish Brand) // Boots:  Lucky Brand // Pants:  LOFT // Jacket:  Banana Republic (old) // Hat:  Ralph Lauren (old, gifted)

I cannot wrap my head around the fact that it has already been a month since the last Your Own Twist Linkup!  Thanksgiving is next week!  How is this happening.  I feel like my mom and I just got back from Poland.  These past few months have been flying by.  Oh, speaking of my mom, if you read yesterday’s post, she started a blog!  I finally convinced her to do it.  I’m so proud of her for taking this step because I know it can be scary, challenging, and exciting all at the same time.  Her first post went live yesterday.  I like how her post said that her fashion is for the women who age like fine wine.  Her whole goal is to show that fashion is for women of all ages.  Thank you to all of you here, who have shown her such great support in all of the Who Wore It Better posts.  I think that helped her decide to take on this project.

For today’s Your Own Twist outfit, Shelbee On The Edge and I are styling high boots in our own way, along with our Co-host Ada from Elegance and Mommyhood.  I’m going to be completely honest, as much as I love wearing boots and fall fashion, I hate the cold that comes with it.  When I was taking these photos, it was so windy and so cold.  That’s probably why my face isn’t very blog worthy haha!  This was taken in Frenchtown, NJ.  I must say, if you ever get a chance to drive through, it’s definitely worth it.  Whenever I come back from Czestochowa in Doylestown, PA (it’s a replica of a Polish church in Poland and I have family buried there), I drive through Frenchtown.  There is a small bridge that connects Frenchtown to PA.  It’s such a cute little town, and there is an ice cream place and Italian restaurant right on main street, that are both delicious!  So, if you are ever in the area, make a pit stop.  Although, I will say, it’s much prettier and nicer in the summer time haha.

We also have a blogger feature from our last linkup.  Katherine sported these super cute high boots, and we wanted to feature her in today’s linkup!  Make sure to check out her blog here.

Now, let’s move on to the linkup!

An InLinkz Link-up

xoxo Monica

Monica, I love this outfit! Those boots are fabulous. We have snow coming tonight up here in northern NY and I am so not ready! But at least I have a million pairs of boots! Thanks for all your hard work on pulling together this link up. You rock!
