Happy Birthday Ada!

Today I am celebrating Ada from Elegance and Mommyhood’s birthday!  I’ve been a part of this collab for a few years now!  I always enjoy collabing with bloggers because I feel as though this builds the community.  I also have a few close friends that I met through blogging and those friendships hold so much value.

We don’t just talk about personal things, for example at one point really early on with this blog I was having a lot of personal problems and my blogger friend Ellen helped me through it.  However, she is also my go to for blogging questions, and she gives me all of the information she knows.  She isn’t one of those people who is vague because they don’t want me to succeed.  Then there is my good friend Michelle.  Her and I met through blogging a while ago, and it wasn’t until a year ago that we met in person.  We talked for what felt like an hour but was really four hours!

My blogger friends understand me so much more.  For example, last week Ada commented on this post.  She talked about her struggles with keeping up with blogging engagement too.  It’s comforting to hear that you aren’t alone.  I know that’s kind of bittersweet, but it’s the truth.  My blogger friends are not only there for me personally, but they genuinely care about me succeeding with my blog and life in general.  That is why I love supporting my blogger friends too. Which is why I’ve done so many collabs!

So, for today, I’d like to wish Ada a very happy birthday.  She is a single mom who works for the majority of the hours in a week, while still finding time to blog.  Here’s a little cyber clink clank of a glass to celebrate your birthday!
