My Grandparents Are Now Together & a Linkup

Hey Everyone,

I have found out some terrible news.  I have now lost my grandmother as well.  She lost her fight to cancer on Tuesday morning.  The grandfather I just lost, was her husband.  I personally think, she was ready to no longer fight her cancer, and she was ready to be with my grandfather.  These were my mom’s parents, so please keep her in your thoughts/prayers/whatever you believe.  I don’t ask for much, just to send good vibes her way.  I’m not sure if we will be back to normal blogging next week, but we will have the linkup ready for y’all.

I wanted to update the blog with the linkup today, so that I didn’t leave y’all hanging.  If my mom and I don’t respond to comments or anything, please don’t take it personally.  We didn’t even get a chance to completely process my grandpa leaving us, and now we have to process them both leaving us.

      Thank you so much. I think right now, it’s just time for my family to heal. Especially my mom. My heart truly breaks for her. She was just telling me the other day that someone had told her that my grandmother wasn’t doing well and they don’t think she’s going to live for much longer. She was telling me how she wants more time with her mom, and then yesterday morning I woke up to that message. I know that bad things come in threes, so I’m waiting for number 3 now 🙁

      Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry to hear that. My grandma was battling it for a long time, and treatment was successful, but then it came back recently. I think she knew her time was coming. Then when my grandfather passed away, I think she was ready.
