A lot of people have asked me how I stay organized with my busy life, on top of my blog. First of all, I will say that it’s extremely wise to invest in a planner! However, if you don’t want to go that route, I’ve created free printables, for both a calendar, and a free printable for keeping track of your content (keep reading to be redirected to the link!). I’ve decided that the first Tuesday of every month will be dedicated to Calendars for the following month!
Let’s go over how I keep track of my blog/social media content.
Regular Calendar
I like to have a regular calendar that shows me exactly what days I should be looking at. I usually have a schedule for my content. Because Wednesdays are usually my busiest days because of my linkup, I choose to post announcements, or cornerstone content on those days. Mondays are strictly for my Monday Motivation series which is all things health related. Tuesdays I usually try to keep for tips/tricks, or things like this content calendar printable. Once a month, my blogger friend Shelbee On The Edge and I have a Your Own Twist Linkup on a Thursday. With all of that being said, I really like to keep track!
Content Ideas
I usually write down ideas for different post ideas. The reason why is because I can be taking a shower, or even driving when I think of an idea. Once I’m able to get to my planner, I write down my ideas. Sometimes those ideas come to life, other times they were a good idea in the moment and won’t ever get posted. This is where I come up with different topics, or different themes. That’s how I came up with Monday Motivation, and my weekly linkup. The content ideas is where I came up with the idea to do a monthly linkup with my blogger friend.
Content Calendar
This is one of the most important parts of this entire printable. This is where I schedule all of my posts. I write down exactly which post will go live that day. I always make sure I have white out tape available too because I’m very indecisive and sometimes I change my mind on what I want posted that day. Especially, if there is a brand that approaches me with a review. I usually ask brands to give me at least two weeks after receiving the product, because I usually have everything scheduled out. Sometimes if I don’t have any content prepared, I will make an exception and go ahead and schedule it.
So, if you are interested in these free printables (the picture that I used for the calendar is my own, however the macrame is courtesy of Gracee Febus) make sure to click here for the calendar and click here for the content ideas and content calendar.

That’s so awesome Monica! I think having a calendar really does wonders when it comes to keeping organized. It’s so funny how ideas come up! I have had things come up at the randomness time and I am like whoa, I don’t have paper! Great job on the printables btw.
