My Old Prom Dress and a Linkup

Hey everyone, so I had this idea for a post today after taking these particular photos.  However, with everything going on, I just have not been feeling like creating the content I originally planned for.  I’m running into this issue for my channel as well.  Thankfully I had some videos pre recorded, but it’s been weird.  Has anyone else felt “off?”  All jokes aside (I cope with dark humor), I’m very worried for anyone who has been infected, and anyone who will be infected.  Personally, I’m not worried about the virus, as much as I’m worried with how people are reacting.  Within days, all of the stores in my town have been cleared of everything.

I think the people who are hoarding things and food for several months worth, while others cannot get anything and truly need it, is disgusting.  I’ve heard of grown adults with no children starting to purchase baby wipes and formula.  Are you people insane?!  There are babies that need these things!  Along with that, some moms cannot breast feed and they rely on baby formula.  Ask yourself this question if you are one of these people “are you ok with a baby starving while you hoard all of these things?”  It’s been so aggravating seeing people who actually need these items, having a hard time finding them.

Thankfully I was able to find the last 4 pack of toilet paper at a local store and we had literally just run out.  I know that stores were not prepared for this, however seeing signs that say “limit two per family” AFTER everything ran out was just so annoying in my opinion.  Also, you cannot control if two people who live together make a plan to pretend like they don’t know each other to buy two per person.  The fact that people are now selling these much needed items online for $8/toilet paper roll (yes, I saw this) is absolutely disgusting.  Not to mention, the MLM reps who are LIVING for this and pitching their products and trying to recruit like crazy.  If you see this and need to report it, here is a link on how to file a complaint with the FTC.  If you are reading this and you are one of those MLM reps doing this, please never come back to this blog ever again, that is disgusting and unethical.  Many companies besides just MLM companies have already had warning letters sent to them from the FTC/FDA regarding these bogus health claims to target people in this very scary time.

At the end of the day, we need to come together.  We need to help each other, and stop being greedy and selfish.

It’s sad how some people react during this time, I think the panic surrounding these circumstances make things a lot worse. The baby food situation makes me so sad!!

    Loving that dress on you!
    Thanks for hosting the linkup!

I am with you Monica. We live in a small town and on a normal day, the stores are empty and all of the shelves are full. Lately, all the shelves are bare and the lines are long. It’s very disturbing. I have shut down from all the news too because all it’s doing is messing with my head. Right now, my parents have an on shelter in place where they live and while I am glad that it’s keeping them safe, I am worried about their supplies, medicines, etc. Anyway, I love your outfit. So chic with a touch of edge!
