Good Netflix Shows to binge watch & a Linkup

Top & Pants: Gifted from my Mom // Sandals: Birkenstock

I know that the title of this blog post has absolutely nothing to do with the photos I decided to post, BUT, I’ve seen a ton of people asking for good shows to binge watch on Netflix.  Especially because there are a ton of people stuck at home.  Of course we have our essential workers (thank you so much for what you do during this time), but there are a lot of people still at home.  I do suggest doing fun challenges with your friends (I’ll leave a few examples below), but if you’re not in the mood for that, let’s chat about some shows to watch.

  • Lucifer:  This is our current jam.  When I can get my fiance to actually like a show and binge watch with me, I’m just shocked.  He’s not the binge watching type, nor does he ever really like the shows I watch.  If you are really religious, you probably won’t like this show because it does paint Lucifer in a different light.  Lucifer is a crime fighting night club owner in LA.  He decided to live on Earth and does not want to go back to hell.  It’s a very good show in my opinion, but yea, if you’re religious you might not like it.
  • The Office and Parks & Rec:  I feel like these are a given.  At least in my book.  I’m a huge fan of both (more of a fan of The Office, but that’s just me).
  • Avatar:  Yes, it’s a cartoon, but it does teach some valuable lessons.  This is also a show that you can watch with your kids.
  • Trial by Media:  This is another good one, I haven’t finished it yet, but that’s because I started binge watching other shows and definitely have to come back to this one.
  • Unsolved Mysteries:  I’m so happy Netflix brought this back, and even though I haven’t watched any of the episodes yet, I’m a bit bias because I just love this show in general haha.
  • The Magicians:  While this is an older show, it’s still amazing.  I don’t think they have all of the seasons on Netflix yet, but it’s still a good binge.  I don’t recommend watching this around your kids, because even though it has a “kid like” title, there are a lot of inappropriate things that go on throughout the show.
  • The Order:  This show is kind of like Netflix’s version of The Magicians.  This one is a little less inappropriate but I still wouldn’t watch it around your kids, unless they’re older.
  • Schitt’s Creek:  I mean, do I even need to explain why this is a great show?
  • 13 Reasons Why:  They finally had the next season come out.  This show comes with a trigger warning for so many different things.  13 Reasons Why is a really heavy show with a lot of really heavy topics.  Anyone with traumas might not be able to watch this.
  • Mindhunter:  I’m a huge true crime fan, and love to learn about the psychology behind serial killers, and murderers in general.  I do recommend reading the book first, but the show does a great job.  This is a little bit of an older show, but it’s still really good.

There are a ton more, but I’ll leave y’all with these for now.  Let me know in the comments what you’ve been binging!

I love Mindhunter but haven’t read the book yet. I’ll totally have to check it out! So many good shows are on Netflix right now!

I haven’t heard of/seen a lot of these shows, but I absolutely love Mind Hunter! I watched a few Unsolved Mysteries but it’s just so unsatisfying to me that they’re still unsolved, haha.

I am loving this outfit, Monica! The pants are so great and that tank top is just adorable. Loving the gold Birks, too. I don’t think I have watched any of those shows! Haha. But I just wrote a post with all the movies and shows I have recently watched (to be published on Friday). Stay cool, my friend.
