Y’all, it has been so grossly hot here in Florida, which is why I’m wearing this LBD. Thankfully the lace top is really light and obviously very airy. It’s been a hot second since I’ve worn my cowgirl boots, and I have a ton of them in my closet. Have you ever shopped your own closet and completely forgot that you had certain clothing or shoes? I feel like after wearing the same thing to our business (jeans and a tshirt), I forget what I have in my closet on the weekends when I actually dress up.
I wanted to give a quick wedding update in this post as well. My shoes came in, I just have to “bedazzle” them. I’m working with the planner to get more things set up and colors picked out. We decided on a location for the ceremony and reception. One thing that we haven’t decided on is the catering and if we want to have a videographer there for the ceremony. Have any of you done this? Was it worth it? I feel like I’m torn on it because while I’d love to have it recorded, I don’t know if it’s completely worth it for the price, especially because technology has evolved so much and I know our loved ones will be recording with their cell phones as well.

Cute LBD! My husband and I had a very non-traditional marriage. We did not hire a videographer, but did have a friend whose side gig is photography take lots of pics. I was not disappointed. Honestly, I am not one to sit and watch a video, much preferring to scan through pics. So I guess the question is, do you or your future husband enjoy watching videos?

We didn’t have a videographer at our wedding tough I have a video my grandfather made (on VHS!; which we can’t even watch anymore). I might have watched it a time or two right after the wedding and I think once with my boys when they were younger but then we never really watched it again.

Cute outfit Monica. Those cowboy boots are awesome shoes and I just adore how they are unique! Yay for getting your shoes in. That’s always exciting. I can’t wait to see how it looks after you bedazzle them. We didn’t hire a videographer. It was too expensive so we just did it on our own. To be honest, we also haven’t watched our video! So it was a great choice for us not to hire a videographer. We did hire a photographer though and she did an amazing job. I have looked through my scrapbook and showed little guy our wedding photo so photographer – definitely hire one! I hope you are well and happy Wednesday!

It sure is hot in Georgia too and I am counting down the days till the fall! We had a friend take pictures and tried to do everything on a budget which I am glad. You probably would get some pretty good videos from family and friends.
