Last week I uploaded a video about my progress thus far. As y’all know I’ve been working on it and I first started off with cardio and Tabata (which is high intensity). After approximately 3 weeks I decided to test out the Chloe Ting Challenge on Youtube. Here is what happened in written form if you don’t want to watch the video.
First and foremost, the girls were helping me workout the entire time. This was supposed to be the thumbnail, but for whatever reason, Youtube kept removing it for “violating community standards.” I have no idea why it went against Youtube because it’s me on a Yoga mat with my dogs. I did put them in the background of the thumbnail though, even though you can’t really see it lol. You will NOT win Youtube (insert evil villain laugh from every Disney movie).
BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS
7/26/20 The first picture I took while my fiance was out of town. I woke up that Sunday and decided that I was going to work out, along with eating healthy that entire day. There was a thought in my head of wanting to start eating healthier to feel confident on my wedding day, however I never took the plunge until July 26th. While I didn’t take measurements, I wrote down my weight and of course took the photo. My starting weight on this day was 173 lbs.
8/16/20 This progress picture was approximately 3 weeks after I had started eating healthy along with working out everyday. Cardio and Tabata were my jam. At this point I had lost 10lbs weighing in at 163 lbs. This photo was taken the day before I started the Chloe Ting Challenge, I did take measurements and the screenshot of those is listed below.
8/30/20 This photo was after doing the 2 week shred challenge that Chloe Ting has on her Youtube channel. I weighed in at 160 lbs, and my measurements are listed after the progress pictures.
As of Sunday September 8th, I weighed in at 157 lbs. I didn’t take any measurements because there wouldn’t be any kind of massive change in a week. I will update y’all with some more progress photos and measurements as the months go by. Currently, I’m back to doing Tabata and I’m testing out Buti Yoga as well. I didn’t see the same results as many other people did with the Chloe Ting challenge even though I followed the program and was in a caloric deficit as suggested. Maybe I’ll try another one in the future, but I prefer other workouts. Buti Yoga seems like a fun workout, but it’s definitely not something I want to do just on it’s own, I feel like I need to add cardio to it as well.
WEDDING UPDATES
Firstly, thanks to my weight loss, I’m about an inch or so away from zipping up the smaller size dress that I purchased. It fits better around the bust, which is why my waist needs to get a little smaller lol. Secondly, we have started to get our menu together so that we can get our invitations sent out with having a choice of entree. My fiance came up with a rough draft wedding invitation that is a major contender. We have very similar styles so it’s great that he can help me with some of this stuff. I still have to work on my bouquet, BUTTTTTT, this past weekend I worked on my wedding shoes. They aren’t finished but that’s because I ran out of some of the rhinestones. Anyway, here is what they look like so far.
With all of that being said, those are the updates that I have for y’all so far! Let’s get into the weekly linkup!

Monica, your wedding shoes are freaking brilliant! And you look fabulous! I was just at the doctor and given a goal of losing 5 pounds by my next appointment on October 22. I have since gained 5! Oops. I have to look into some of the things you have been doing.

What great progress: I have learned that it is not so much about the weight after a while as the toning and you look like you are doing the right things to make a difference! Love your fun sneaks!
