Decorating for the Holidays & a Linkup

Well, the decorating has started!  Most of it is done, so it’s just some finishing touches.  I’ll be sharing a lot of the finishing touches on Instagram.  I bought a few more ornaments for our tree, and I actually have an interesting story about that.

I went to Joann Fabrics with my husband because he wanted to buy a sewing machine for upholstery.  I saw some ornaments so I bought them for myself and my mom, I like to buy matching Christmas things since my mom can’t be here with me.  Well, while I was checking out, I obviously had my mask on and the woman that was working said she recognized my voice and I said that it might’ve been because we had two businesses in town.  My husband jokingly said, oh maybe it’s from Youtube.

Sure enough, it was because of Youtube.

Well, she’s been watching my videos and she was so excited and shocked.  I don’t know who was more shocked, me, or her haha.  She was in the chat on one of my livestreams and I remember what she had said because it was during the hurricane.  I’ve never been recognized before like that so it was the coolest experience ever.  After that, I was just in shock that someone would be that happy to meet me in person.  The reason being is I’m no different than every other person out there.  I just make videos on the internet.  With that being said, I truly hope that any other Youtubers or Influencers out there who meet their audience out in public treat them with love and respect.  I feel like some people would probably treat them like just another fan.  It was such a surreal experience.
